Who am I?
I believe in creating a safe space within which my clients can access as much choice and power as possible. Illness, pain and suffering can be seen as a message from us to ourselves. Usually we are too busy being victimised by these messages to perceive them clearly and act on them. Information about our physical and mental/emotional condition can offer us choices. Freedom from pain, relief from our symptoms, can bring us power to reflect and change.
Who are my clients?
My clients vary greatly and I enjoy working with people from a number of different backgrounds.
I have worked with a number of clients undergoing fertility treatments such as IUI and IVF working with them throughout their conception and pregnancy and bringing their babies to full term. I have also assisted in the turning of breach babies (before their subsequent succesful delivery!).
I volunteered for 2 years at the NHS Gateway Clinic in South London working with people with HIV and Hepititis C. Whilst there I also provided palliative care for Cancer sufferers, and helped with the rehabilitation of stroke sufferers as well as treating ME, migraines, headaches and musculoskeletal pain. I currently work for Chai Cancer Care and work with people in remission, people who currently have Cancer and people who are caring for people with Cancer.
I have worked with international performers of theatre and film such as Wayne Sleep and Samantha Barks, and singers including Matisyahu and teachers from Italia Conti (Britain’s oldest theatre arts training school) as well as the cast and crew of national tours of South Pacific and Cabaret. |
